Terherne Haven is a wharf for classic boats located in the middle of the lake area of Friesland, the water rich province in the North of the Netherlands. It offers you a wide variety of recreational activities. In a historical nautical atmosphere you will find the possibilities to sail, stay for bed & breakfast or just walk around and enjoy the boats.

You can sail on one of the classical boats (with a skipper) of Varend Friesland (this is already possible!). Do you have your own classical boat? In that case, in the near future you will be able to stay overnight in Terherne Haven.

Characteristic, small Wharf Cottages will offer more possibilities to stay overnight; starting in the sommer of 2007. The wharf will give you enough variety to spend a few pleasant days. Besides the Ship Hall filled with several exclusive classical ships, you will find shops with a nautical assortment and workplaces with craft-activities.
